Whistleblower protection

This law governs the protection of individuals who, in the course of their professional activities, have obtained information about violations and have reported this information to internal or external reporting channels (= whistleblowers). Individuals who support whistleblowers or are affected by the report are also covered by the protection provided by this law

As an employee, supplier, or as an employee whose employment relationship has already ended or has not yet begun and is in a pre-contractual stage, you have the option to utilize the Whistleblower Protection Act

What happens after you use the whistleblower protection system

Confirmation of receipt: You will receive confirmation of receipt of the report within seven days

Follow-up actions: Within three months of receiving the report, the reporting office must inform you of any follow-up actions taken (e.g., the initiation of internal investigations or the forwarding of the report to the competent authority).
